"Stories, yours, mine, ours – it’s what we all carry with us on this trip we take, and we owe it to each other to respect our stories and learn from them.” – Robert Coles

We see the stories as powerful tools that can transform relationships, improve mental health outlooks, and build community. We want to help you understand your told and untold stories so that you can increase your calm and peace, reduce your stress and anxiety, and navigate life more confidently.

Expressive storytelling helps you uncover your told and untold stories. It is a way to safely let loose your feelings about things that you may have been conditioned to ignore, shut out, or put up with. When you express your story, you are better able to solve problems and transform conflicts, focus your mind and energies, reconstruct your fractured identity, and find better states of mental and emotional health.

Journaling is one expressive storytelling method. But to get to better states of mental and emotional health, our stories need to be understood, attended to, and told in a way that does not cause further harm to ourselves or others. Sometimes the story needs to be shared so that others can learn and act from it.

We can teach you how to safely and comfortably express your story in a way that fits you, your style of expression, and the message your want to convey.
