This 90-minute session focuses on awareness of the breath and the practice of breathing as a method of calming the mind and shifting one's attitude. We will engage in a heart-focused breathing exercise followed by a learning and journaling practice centered on dealing with thoughts and ways to improve mood, focus, and clarity.

What to bring
- A notebook or journal and pen for writing (we sell journals at the studio).
- Wear clothing that makes you feel comfortable when moving, sitting, stretching, and lying down.
- Your own reusable water bottle (recommended).
- A blanket (recommended).

No meditation skills or experience is required; however, we recommend consulting your medical advisors before undertaking this movement and meditation session.
This session may involve sitting or lying on the floor or in a chair for a prolonged period of time. You should be able to get into and out of a seated or lying position without assistance.
